China has honored this favorite son once again by publishing a book devoted to his drawing mastery of the human head. Wu's previous drawing book concentrated on drawing the figure, while this one is based solely on the head.

Using a variety of drawing media, Wu demonstrates different approaches to drawing and rendering the form with artistry and sensitivity. Several of the drawings are illustrated in five stages so you can see the development of the drawings from one image to the next.

This text was printed entirely in Chinese, but with the assistance of our resident artist, Johnnie Liliedahl, Zhaoming Wu translated the comments and captions into English, which we are providing as a free addition to the books we sell. We believe you will enjoy a lot of information from these comments and that they add substantially to the value of the book.

We have recently filmed a drawing video with Zhaoming Wu, which will be released later this year. Collect his popular drawing book now while it is still in print. As the printing is controlled by the Chinese publisher, copies available in the United States are limited, and unavailable for reorder. With the book in hand, you will be able to see first-hand how many of the techniques shown in the books are illustrated in the video when it is released.
