A NOTE FROM THE PUBLISHER
We recently filmed a program with Robert Maniscalco, creator of The Power of Positive Painting™ concept, first introduced on DVD in 995. Overwhelmingly, viewers appreciated his practical, concrete, informative and energetic approach to portraiture.
In response to great viewer feedback, Maniscalco has put that insight and subsequent teaching experience into the creation of the much anticipated follow up DVD, called:
The Portrait; A Value –based Painting System.
The new DVD is even more comprehensive than the first, much more down to business. Robert’s focus is on really breaking down the fundamentals for the viewer, the ones many teachers tend to gloss over or skip altogether. He also gets into the nuances of handling the brush and executing and recognizing the master-stroke. There’s a section on what to do when you get into a drawing jam.
In the new DVD there is more explanation about the advantages of mixing and using the Power Palette.
Other BONUS FEATURES allow the viewer to take in as much or as little information as they are ready to hear, when they are ready to hear it.
