These projects were developed to teach, practice and hone the "craft" of painting so that a person has the tools at his/her disposal to execute the "art" of painting. Specific techniques are used in each project to teach a variety of methods of paint application that can then be used by the painter to create their own original paintings. These are the perfect answer for painters who do not yet design their own original compositions, but wish to practice their painting skills while creating beautiful paintings.
For painters who simply wish to copy well-designed, individual paintings, these projects were designed to serve this purpose. Each project contains complete written instructions, color images of the most important stages of the painting in-progress, a short sheet of abbreviated instructions for the more advanced painters, and a line-tracing (cartoon drawing) of the composition for those who do not desire to free-hand draw the image onto the canvas.
