PREVIEW 5 MINUTE CLIP OF THIS VIDEO!
"I recently had the pleasure of watching Jean Chambers create three, stunningly beautiful paintings in our studio. Her work has been among my favorites for several years, but I was never able to get into one of her workshops, as they fill as soon as they are announced (and sometimes sooner). It seemed that I would never be able to see this master artist at work. And, we thought that there must be others like me who wanted to study with Jean, but are unable to. A video seemed the next best thing to being able to study with her personally.
So, we asked her if she would consider doing several programs for us to release as videos, and she graciously agreed. The compositions she set up were all three exceptionally beautiful. It was hard to choose which to release first, so Jean helped us make that decision by requesting that we work on "In a Timely Manner". Recently, she has completed a number of paintings that include clocks or timepieces of varying shapes and sizes, and her collectors anxiously await the next in the series. You may remember another of her recent paintings in this series, as it was in the 2006 Oil Painters of America National Competition and Show, of which she is a signature member.
Seeing how she paints the face of the antique clock is a special part of this video, and I know you will be as amazed as I was to see how she does it, especially the Roman numerals. Of course, the roses are everyone's favorite, and the buds she effortlessly paints is a lesson all by itself. This video is one you will want to add to your resource library, for Jean is the master of creating more by brushing less."
