"BOOK-ON-CD" by Robert A. Johnson
We're very happy to announce the completion and publication
of a new "Book-on-CD" by Robert A. Johnson, featuring two Still-Life
demonstration paintings that Robert did during the workshop he conducted
in our studio (Liliedahl Fine Art Studio) in October, 2002.
Each CD contains the complete, transcribed text of Robert's running
commentary (edited by Robert himself) as well as hundreds of high
resolution, digital photos of the respective painting in progress,
from beginning to end, for you to view, read, and/or print for your
own library. They are a unique, one-of-a-kind product that will
serve as a valuable reference for anyone having an IBM PC compatible
computer with a CD player/reader.

Reader, contained on the CD.
The user has complete control of the viewing process and may choose
to print any or all of the included documentation, as desired. Printing
images in color requires the user to have a color printer.
The CD contains the following information for viewing and/or
printing:
-The entire transcript of the commentary and discussion given by
Robert during the process of painting the two (2) demonstration
paintings shown at left, "Flowers in Crystal Vase" and "Yellow Rose
and Copper Pot."
-287 color images of the paintings in progress, from beginning to
end.(displayed in color on user's computer monitor for easy reference;
requires a color printer to print in color)
-This Book-on-CD shows the progress of Robert's painting from the
first stroke to the last, and contains a full, written transcript
of his workshop discussion, edited by Robert for this format. If
you have never studied with Mr. Johson, this publication will give
you the sense of being there in the class. Questions are fielded
by the students and answered as the demonstration progressed.
